Information Processed by AI

When you use our AI-powered recipe import feature:

• URL Import: The recipe URL is sent to our AI service for parsing. The URL content is processed to extract recipe information.
• Photo Import: Photos you select are sent to our AI service for text recognition. Images are processed and not stored on our servers.
• Voice Import: Audio recordings are processed locally on your device using speech recognition. No audio is sent to our servers.

Automatically Collected Information

We do not automatically collect any personal information, analytics, or usage data.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Provide and maintain the Kookini app
• Process your recipe imports using AI technology
• Generate meal plans and shopping lists based on your recipes
• Improve app functionality and user experience

Data Storage and Security

Your recipe data is stored locally on your device using SQLite database. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• All local data is stored in your device's secure storage area
• AI processing uses encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• No data is stored on our servers after processing

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services for AI processing:

• mimo AI: Used for parsing recipes from URLs and images. Data is processed according to their privacy policy and is not stored after processing.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties.

• Access all your data (stored locally on your device)
• Delete your data at any time by clearing app data or uninstalling the app
• Export your recipes and data
• Opt out of AI processing by not using the import features
