URL import isn't working: Make sure you have an internet connection. Some recipe sites block automated access — try a different URL (e.g. BBC Good Food) or use photo/voice import instead.
How do I build a shopping list?: Open Shopping, tap +, then choose Import from meal plan or Import from recipes. Ingredients are merged by category.
How does the free tier work?: You can save up to 6 recipes without a subscription. If your Premium subscription ends, your 6 oldest recipes stay available; newer ones are locked until you resubscribe. Meal planning and shopping lists stay free.
Does voice import work offline?: Speech recognition runs on your device, but AI parsing of the transcript requires an internet connection.
How do I restore my Premium purchase?: Open Settings → Premium → Restore Purchase. You must be signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Where is my data stored?: Recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists are stored locally on your device. You can export your data from Settings at any time.
Does the app work offline?: Yes — browsing recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists works offline. AI import (URL, photo, and voice parsing) requires an internet connection.
How do I delete my data?: Delete individual recipes in the app, or uninstall Kookini to remove all local data from your device.
